Dear Passionistas!

Hope the new year is treating you all kind. It's only been a few days in and I don't know about you, but I've already made life changing decisions, plans and goals to achieve this year. I am excited far beyond anyone could ever imagine. Last year was rough for me emotionally. This year I will not let anything or anyone get in the way of my happiness and well being. With that said, I ran today in 14 degree weather and -2 wind chills for 3 miles, and it felt so so cold but yet so amazing. After my run, I was defrosting for quite a bit and had to take a hot shower and drink hot tea, just to bring back my body temperature up. You may think I'm crazy. Yes, probably that is not far from the truth. I mainly did it because, no circumstances will stand in my way to what I want to achieve. Oh and I have those goals I've mentioned about. If you find yourself with the majority of people, doing exact same things they do and there is nothing that distinguishes you from the majority, you may have to re-evaluate your path to success. If you want more out of life, you have got to do more things, outside of the box. The road is often fit only for the crazies, the brave of heart, the fearless and passionate without borders. Take that first step, take the risk. I promise, it will all be worth it in the end.

For this blog, I decided to style my favorite bell sleeve trend in two looks. I got this awesome navy blue top for under $10 (i love a great steal). For my first outfit, I paired it up with leather leggings, black edgy studded booties and a fur coat. If you live in a cold climate, you will thank me for this warm coat that is also unique and stylish and yes, won't hurt your bank. This is the second year I'm wearing it and looks like it will not be retired for awhile :) This look is a little bit more risky and bold, most wouldn't pair up feminine bell sleeves with leather and studded booties, but there is nothing I love more then mix and matching styles and owning it.

For those of you wanting a little bit more romantic feel, the second outfit would be your choice. I paired up navy blue bell sleeve top with a suede skirt, soft leather neutral grey booties (they come in other colors too and are very comfortable, under $100-on sale now) with a color block coat and an oversized scarf. I added long rose gold necklace from Park Lane Jewelry to complete the look and a beautiful white embroidered clutch (only $12.99). You can also wear this top with jeans and pencil skirts. Make sure to wear high heeled pumps for a polished look or booties, as a casual option.

As we have rang the bells into the new year, there is no better way then to wear those bells, on our sleeves that is :) Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Passionistas.

Love,
