Always wondered how to transition your favorite pieces from summer to fall? Which patterns are safe or which you should put away for the colder months? Wonder no more, because I will tell you all the secrets!

You will be absolutely safe with black and white patterns, whether they are floral or geometric shapes.  Any floral patterns containing a lot of black in them are pieces you might want to transform from summer to fall. Stay away from bright-happy colors or too crazy wild patterns. Fall is about sudden changes, when we think of leaves changing colors we know that the process takes a while, so why shouldn't your closet take a minute to transform from summer to fall?

I love this black and white A-line dress that I got from Zara during summer. It is now sold out, but I linked two floral dresses are worth of wearing them well into fall. Check out this amazing Floral A-line Dress for only $22.90 or Contemporary Floral Dress for $29.90. I've styled the look with a pop of color. Red strappy sandals are perfect for a date night, or going out to dinner with your girlfriends. If you are not sure of red, try strapping your feet into burgundy sandals. Rich and deep colors are going to be something you will want to have in your closet for the upcoming fall/winter months. Make sure you stock up on a great leather jacket too! I've spent quite a penny for my Moto Leather jacket, but let me tell you, it is all worth it! A great quality leather jacket will last a long time. I've had my jacket for a few years now and the quality of leather is just as the first day I bought it. Anyone who comes in contact with my leather jacket can't believe how soft it is! I feel like I'm wearing a second skin, because the jacket will mold to your figure so well, you won't want to take it off. Trust me! Try getting a black jacket first, unless you find an amazing deal for a brown or burgundy leather jacket. In my experience a black jacket is more versatile, so that should be your first aim. But of course, for those of you who are on a budget, I linked a really cool and more affordable option here (on sale for $70!).

The same goes for the bag. If you are wanting to invest in a bag, this Yves Saint Laurent bag is it. It's so gorgeous, I screamed the moment I saw it! It's sturdy and quality of leather as well as craftsmanship is outstanding. This bag will basically last you a lifetime and will go with any outfit. Period. So save up and splurge. You deserve to be happy and this bag is pure HAPPINESS. I've linked a budget friendly option by Kate Spade, because I always think of your wallets, Passionistas! To complete your look with accessories, make sure to check out Park Lane Jewelry. You will see me wearing their beautiful pieces on a daily basis. They have a huge selection of styles that are high quality with interesting, current designs.

Loved sharing this outfit with you all! I will be wearing this dress few more times before snow falls, I may add black tights or over the knee boots. I hope my tips were helpful with transforming your closets or adding few key pieces to it for fall.

It's less than two weeks to Chicago Marathon and I couldn't be more happy to be running and representing my charity of choice, Girls on the Run. Still time to DONATE!! Thanks a latte!

With love,
