Color of the Year - Green — style your passion

Hi Passionistas!

According to Pantone the color of 2017 is green. That makes me very happy, since green is my favorite color (after black naturally). As I was strolling through the mall the other day, I've already noticed a lot of green in many of the stores I walked in. Trust me, you'll soon see it everywhere. A lot of us barely include green in our outfits, we think it doesn't complement us. The key to wearing green successfully is finding that perfect tone. I believe this emerald shade of green works for most. Just don't overdue it. If you wear few shades of green together then you have not read my blog.

I found this amazing green top at StyleWe. Not only the emeral green is just perfect but the bell sleeves are so on trend. The sleeves are not overwhelmingly big, so it's a perfect top to wear to work. It is stretchy and will look great tucked in with high waisted jeans for a casual Sunday look. I paired the top with this simple but very chick long vest. It has beautiful cut out detail by the neckline and leather flaps on the front. This vest will be in my constant rotation as I can wear it over any top to make my outfits more interesting. The skirt I'm wearing is a classic black number that anyone should have in their closet and invest in one that has a timeless shape. The outfit wouldn't be complete without over the knee boots. I opted out for grey ones for more added interest and to break up the dark tones. You can still wear black if that's more of your style.

As you get your green on and continue to bust your little awesome tush through the week, I just want you to know that there are no traffic jams along the extra mile. It is always worth pushing more and more for what you want to achieve in life. Try taking one small step daily, and after awhile you will notice how far you've come. Don't ever give up, it's the key to success, dear Passionistas.
